“This is a wonderful school very caring staff. Longfellow staff makes you fell welcome, the school is inviting and warm. There are lots of student art hanging in the hallway.”

“We came from a low-performing charter school-this school is excellent! Teachers are so caring & involved, some have been there for 30+ years! This is the highest performing elementary in Pontiac, above state average. My 3rd grader is in Honors program, Computer club, Science club, Healthy Snacks club, drama & more! I'm active in PTO & with school events. I worried about the 'economic' level of this school & district, but they had several field trips this year. They are trying hard to keep kids wearing navy/white, but it's voluntary. TONS of opportunity to be involved and they love it when I do! Too bad some parents do nothing at all. Many student teachers get hired in and stay for years. The whole staff is superb. I only wish they went through 8th grade.”
